With over twenty years experience as a freelance translator and interpreter in the technical domains listed as my specialisms, I can offer a professional language service tailored to my Client’s requirements.

Studies at Cologne University of English and French Linguistics/Literature and a post-graduate Diploma in Translation (IoL London) covering Mechanical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences form the basis of my qualification as a professional translator.

Over the years (as a staff and freelance translator/interpreter) I have worked on turnkey plant projects, for multinational, industrial and commercial companies as well as non-commercial companies such as TÜV (a German Government approved Inspection and Testing Authority) and organisations like the British Standards Institution and the European Patent Office. I also gained translator accreditation with the European Commission.
